Welcome to Eldee Station

Farm Stays NSW
Silverton Deluxe Accommodation, Caravan and Campsites

Staying on Eldee Station is a unique way to experience quintessential outback life and for a ‘real’ Aussie Outback adventure where we offer unique accommodation options to suit a variety of budgets and complimentary facilities giving guests ‘great value for their money’.

Our unique accommodation options include hiring swags for adults and children so you can camp under the stars, the historical shearers quarters rooms where the modern comforts of home have been blended with history and heritage of the past and our spacious open plan suites all with the uninterrupted views of the iconic Mundi Mundi Plains and the ancient rugged Barrier Ranges.

To complement our accommodation there are also unique tour options and activities where we have the benefits of a private wilderness retreat (our nearest neighbour is 19 k's away) and guests have access to over 100 kilometres of tracks where they can walk, ride, use their own 4wd’s or follow a tag along 4WD tour or take a guided tour.

There is also a licensed restaurant serving hearty country style meals with breads, pasteries, cakes and deserts all made on site with ingredients included from our gardens. Seasonally we also include jams, sauces, pickles and relishes that are home made. Some of these items are also available for purchase along with other small goods. We have a plunge pool, outdoor heated spa as well making Eldee Station a true holiday destination.

Naomi and Stephen Schmidt are fourth generation owners and managers who love to share their part of the Australian Outback and their local knowledge. The historic sheep and cattle station is a true outback oasis which combines welcoming outback country hospitality with amazing scenery, famous golden sunsets, to create the perfect outback escape for the explorer within.

Turn at the roundabout on Williams Street near the holden dealership in Broken Hill and turn left and travel 25 k's to the Village of Silverton.

From Silverton you travel through the village on the main road onto Umberumberka Reservoir for 16 k's. Do not turn into the reservior but continue straight ahead onto the gravel road for 19.6 kilometers until you reach the Eldee Station sign and turn off to the right and go through the gum creek and facilities are on the left hand side.
